The Aboriginal Family Legal Service Southern Queensland (AFLSSQ) provides free legal advice, support and representation to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families in south Queensland. You can help if you: ATSILS can represent the plaintiff or defendant at a family dispute resolution conference at Legal Aid Queensland. The provision of legal assistance to ATSILS to represent clients at conferences on the resolution of family disputes in legal aid provides access to the dispute resolution service. If ATSILS requests a disbursement allowance only for an appeal against a conviction and/or conviction by the District Court or Supreme Court, the case must be referred to a grant manager for decision.
