What`s the Legal Age in England

Guests aged 16 or 17 may serve alcohol in a restaurant if the licensee or bar manager has approved the sale. Some regions limit this sale to sealed bottles of alcohol. The legal age of criminal responsibility in England and Wales is 10 years, in accordance with section 50 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1933. You can apply for legal aid. You will be assessed with your own funds. You can legally marry or enter into a registered civil partnership at the age of 16, although in both cases parental consent must be given if you are under 18. You can apply for legal aid at any age, although if you apply in civil or family courts, you may need to apply through a litigant. The law states that persons under the age of 13 can never legally consent.
